OFF-LEASH DOG BEACH. Located at 3000 Boardwalk, Wildwood, NJ 08260, Wildwood Dog Park & Beach is between Glenwood and Maple Avenues. The entrance to the Dog Park and Beach is located at the street end of Maple Ave, under the Boardwalk. The dog park, complete with a 30-foot-tall fire hydrant sculpture, offers two separate fenced-in areas — one for large breeds and the other for small — and play areas decorated with tunnels, platforms and shade areas for the pooches, benches and a covered gazebo for their humans. Dogs are allowed on the beach and to swim in the ocean within this designated dog beach area. Fresh water and dog clean-up bags are available, and the beach is open every day from dawn until dusk. All dogs must remain on leash when not in the enclosed off-leash area. Dogs are not permitted on the Wildwood boardwalk.
