Located at 3444 Little River Rd., Waterbury, VT 05676, Little River State Park is on the 850-acre Waterbury Reservoir in Mount Mansfield State Forest. The park is home to central Vermont’s largest and most popular campground. Dogs are not permitted on beaches or in designated swim areas or in most cabins. Dogs on a leash no longer than 10 feet are allowed elsewhere throughout the park and can swim at the boat launch area in section A or from waterfront campsites. At this time, only the Bear cabin is pet-friendly.
