OFF-LEASH DOG BEACH. Located between Venice and Caspersen beaches at 1600 S. Harbor Drive, Venice, FL 34285, Brohard Beach and Paw Park offers a fenced dog play yard that leads to the only beach area in the county where dogs are allowed. The park includes a fenced in area where dogs can run leash-free during daylight hours and access to a beach where dogs are allowed off-leash. No lifeguards, but there are picnic tables and restrooms along with hoses to wash off dogs and showers for their humans. Other amenities are benches, dog waste bags, and drinking fountains for humans and dogs. The beach and paw park are open from 7 a.m. to dusk daily. A humans-only beach is just south of Brohard Paw Park and is open daily with the same hours.
