Located at 545 A Bottomless Lakes Rd., Roswell, NM 88201, Bottomless Lakes State Park is the only NM state park that has a designated swimming beach and lifeguards on duty during the summer at Lea Lake. The park features a series of eight small spring fed lakes off the Pecos River. The lakes are sink holes that range from 17 to 90 feet deep. Lea Lake is on the south end of the park and is the largest. Here the visitor will find a sandy beach for swimming and the opportunity to rent paddleboards and pedal boats during the summer months. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the park and on the beach.
