Pacific Pines State Park is located just north of Ocean Park on the western side of the Long Beach Peninsula. From the main parking area, there is a narrow, sandy footpath that leads through a grove of Pacific Ponderosa pine trees to the beach. The park offers picnicking, beachcombing, fishing, clamming, and crabbing. Dogs on a leash no longer than 8 feet are allowed in the park, but are not permitted on designated swimming beaches.
