Located adjacent to Coon Street Boat Launch and Kings Beach State Recreation Area, Coon Street Dog Beach is situated at the corner of Coon Street and Highway 28 in Kings Beach. The beach is (facing the lake) to the left of the boat launch ramp. The beach features restrooms, picnic areas with grills and boat launch. Dogs are allowed only on the rocky area marked as “dog beach” – the only public dog beach on the North Shore. This small, rocky beach is located to the east (left if looking at the ramp) of the boat launch. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the beach.
