Located at 1505 Pequot Avenue, Southport, CT 06890, Southport Beach is a small, quiet beach that includes bathroom facilities. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months. Dogs and horses are allowed on the beach only during the off-season, from October 1 to March 31. At all other times dogs and horses are forbidden to enter any town beach, including the parking areas for such beach. When permitted to be on a Town beach, dogs must be leashed at all times.
