Located 5 miles south of Cannon Beach, OR, Hug Point State Recreation Site offers an easy access to the beach. Please be aware of the tide when exploring the beach and headlands as it is possible to become stranded by the incoming tide when exploring the point. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the beach. Dogs may be off-leash if under the direct control of the owner or handler.
