The JetBlue Airlines pet policy is as follows:
Starting August 1, 2023, the temporary suspension for dogs entering the United States from high-risk countries for dog rabies has been extended. This includes dogs arriving from countries without high risk of rabies if the dogs have been in a high-risk country in the past 6 months.
As of January 2021 JetBlue will no longer accept bookings for emotional support animals.
Only small dogs and cats are accepted for transport in the cabin (except in Mint). Small dogs and cats are accepted in the aircraft cabin on both domestic and international flights, with the exception of flights to Trinidad & Tobago and to/from U.K./Europe.
Your pet carrier cannot exceed 17″L x 12.5″W x 8.5″H, and the combined weight of your pet and the carrier must not exceed 20 pounds. The carrier must fit comfortably under the seat in front of you.
Only one pet per customer is allowed.
Pets are not accepted on interline/codeshare bookings, regardless of booking source (jetblue.com, travel agency, partner airline’s website, etc.).
JetBlue will not accept dogs or cats on flights to or from: Colombia (MDE), Ecuador (UIO), Peru (LIM).

JetBlue does not ship live animals as cargo or in the bellies of any aircraft.
Taking a pet to a foreign country involves preparation and planning far in advance of your departure date. Requirements for pet travel to a foreign country are set by the destination country. If you are you traveling to another country and bringing along your pet you’ll need to meet the animal health requirements of the country you are visiting.
