The Copa Airlines pet policy is as follows:
Small dogs and cats are accepted as carry-on in the cabin.
The pet, together with its container, must not weigh more than 20 lb.
For international flights, it is allowed to transport pets from Monday through Friday. For domestic flights in Panama, is allowed daily as long as you don’t have an international connection on your trip.
Only one pet per container.
Only one pet allowed per passenger.
Pets are not allowed in Business Class. ConnectMiles PreferMember Passenger traveling with pets in cabin will not be eligible for complimentary upgrades.
Pets are not accepted on board if your itinerary includes interline segments or a connection on an airline other than Copa Airlines.
If you are traveling with a pet that does not meet the requirements for traveling in the cabin, please contact Copa Pets (cargo) department. Only dogs and cats are accepted. Copa Pets does not accept pets if your itinerary includes interline segments or a connection on an airline other than Copa Airlines.
Certain breeds of dog and cats are prohibited.
Branchiocephalic breeds (flat nose) are prohibited for Brazil.
Taking a pet to a foreign country involves preparation and planning far in advance of your departure date. Requirements for pet travel to a foreign country are set by the destination country. If you are you traveling to another country and bringing along your pet you’ll need to meet the animal health requirements of the country you are visiting.
