The Bangkok Airways pet policy is as follows:
Pets are not accepted in the aircraft cabin.
Pets are accepted in an aircraft hold (AVIH) beneath the passenger cabin in a safe and temperature-controlled environment. Dogs and cats are the only types of pets accepted.
Domestic – pets accepted on all flights to Chiang Mai, Phuket , Samui and all flights operated with AT72, Pet must be at least 8 weeks old.
International – pets accepted on all routes except the Maldives (Allow cats only). Apply Bangkok Airways acceptance procedure with local customs requirements of port of origin/transfer/transit/destination, animal age and health requirement.
Some aircraft do not have the appropriate facilities for AVIH service. Please contact one of our offices or our call centre for more details.
Taking a pet to a foreign country involves preparation and planning far in advance of your departure date. Requirements for pet travel to a foreign country are set by the destination country. If you are you traveling to another country and bringing along your pet you’ll need to meet the animal health requirements of the country you are visiting.
