Located at 5200 Zoo Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90027, on a 9-acre site in Griffith Park, Travel Town Museum is an outdoor transportation museum which preserves and celebrates the railroad heritage of the western United States–its history and its artifacts. It offers visitors the chance to see and examine at close hand many different types of vehicles, from a 104-ton locomotive to a one-horse shay. Dogs on a leash are welcome throughout the museum.
