Wings of Rescue
Wings of Rescue, a life saving air transport for shelter pets, is a non-profit organization that consists of volunteer pilots who charter large cargo planes to transport shelter pets from overcrowded high-kill shelters to no-kill rescue partners in the Pacific Northwest, areas of Canada, the East Coast and more.

Dogs In Danger is a nonprofit national shelter outreach program at the forefront of a grassroots movement trying to help shelters save the lives of millions of innocent dogs. works with more than 120 shelters nationwide that destroy dogs. How much time the dogs get before death varies from state to state. The site aims to save their lives by offering them for adoption. The adoption service is free both for shelters and people looking for pets, allowing users to search by location, breed or time until death.

Pilots-N-Paws originated in 2008 when a small group of people came together to help the thousands of animals in shelters and rescues across the United States. Often the animals coming into rescue are required to be transported long distances from the rescue point. Pilots-N-Paws is comprised of both individuals involved in rescue and pilots willing to volunteer their time to help transport some of these animals in need. was created in an effort to place homeless animals throughout the United States. These animals are often located in one of thousands of animal shelters and rescue's throughout the Country which offer a temporary placement while a loving family is found. San Francisco: Muttville Senor Dog Rescue
Muttville is a new kind of dog rescue. Dedicated to seniors, the dogs that have the hardest time finding new homes, Muttville begins transforming their lives the minute they arrive. The dogs see a vet almost immediately; they roam the offices freely soaking up love; and they go to foster as soon as possible until they find their forever homes. The year it was founded, Muttville rescued 27 dogs during the year; Muttville currently rescues almost 27 a WEEK, or 1,100 a year.

Santa Ana: Southern California Bulldog Rescue
Southern California Bulldog Rescue provides shelter, re-homing assistance, and funds for medical treatment for over 100 bulldogs each year. These dogs come to us from animal shelters, other rescue groups, and owners who wish to surrender their purebred bulldogs. We help bulldogs in the Southern California area find suitable homes.

Greenwich: Adopt-A-Dog Inc.
Adopt-A-Dog, Inc. is a dog and cat rescue organization, shelter and sanctuary serving New York, Connecticut and far beyond for nearly three decades. Adopt-A-Dog’s mission is to find safe, permanent homes for discarded companion animals.


Miami Beach: Dachshund Rescue of South Florida
Dachshund Rescue of South Florida is a foster based 501(c)(3) rescue who helps hotdogs regardless of age, health, or behavioral issues find new homes after being in a shelter, as a stray out on the streets, or owner surrendered.

Wilton Manors: 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida Rescue
Over 2000 dogs and 60 cats have been rescued by 100 Plus in the Everglades area of Florida (Florida City and Homestead and Redlands areas in SE Florida). The pets are usually found starving, severely emaciated, full of ticks, at risk for disease and exposed to the open environment. The animals are bred to live with humans and cannot easily adapt to the wild. 100 Plus accepts any dogs, even pregnant ones.


Chicago area: Retired Greyhounds as Pets (REGAP)
Retired Greyhounds as Pets (REGAP) is a Chicagoland area/Central Illinois based anti-race, non-profit, rescue and adoption group. REGAP adopts greyhounds to homes in Illinois and certain areas of Wisconsin, Indiana and Iowa.

Lisle: Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois, Inc.
Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation established in 1995. We provide shelter and care to purebred Collies which have been abandoned or turned in to shelters. The Collies are placed in temporary foster homes until a permanent home can be found.

Pekin: Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS) Animal Adoption Center and Shelter
TAPS Animal Adoption Center and Shelter is a no-kill shelter that gives dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens a home until permanent homes can be found. Kansas City: LL Dog Rescue
LL Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) Missouri Nonprofit Corporation, licensed with Missouri as an Animal Care Facility, and with Kansas as an Animal Shelter, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new homes for unwanted dogs. We specialize in purebred toy-breeds, purebred Chihuahua and purebred Sheltie rescue in the Greater Kansas City area including both Missouri and Kansas.


Las Vegas: Krys's Rescue Center

New Castle: Aussie Rescue and Placement Helpline, Inc.
The Aussie Rescue and Placement Helpline, Inc. (ARPH) is a not-for-profit organization that is comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to the Australian Shepherd breed. These volunteers receive no payment except the sense of accomplishment and personal satisfaction found in placing an orphaned Aussie into a loving, caring, and permanent home.


Woonsocket: Furever Dachshund Rescue
Furever Dachshund Rescue is a non-profit 501c3 status organization dedicated to acting in the best interest of all dachshunds including, but not limited to, the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of abandoned, neglected and stray dachshunds.


Austin: Austin Pets Alive!
Austin Pets Alive! maintains comprehensive, innovative programs designed to save the animals most at risk for euthanasia. These key groups of animals included puppies with parvovirus, unweaned kittens, cats with ringworm, dogs and cats in need of additional behavioral support and/or additional medical attention. By developing comprehensive, innovative programs that targeted these key groups of animals and pulling directly from euthanasia lists, Austin Pets Alive! has saved more than 40,000 dogs and cats since 2008.

San Antonio: Heart of Texas SPCA
