OFF-LEASH DOG BEACH. Redfish Lake is an alpine lake located in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, at the base of the Sawtooth Mountains, south of Stanley. It offers a multitude of recreational activities including fishing, boating, kayaking and swimming. Dogs on a leash are allowed on most of the beaches, although there are a few areas where no dogs are permitted, so be sure to read the regulations. There is a designated dog beach at Redfish Lake located on the north shore, just 300 yards behind the Redfish Visitor Center and a short walk from the Redfish Lake Lodge. Please note: the Redfish Lake Lodge does not permit pets.
