Cuyahoga Valley National Park preserves the rural landscape along the Cuyahoga River between Akron and Cleveland in Northeast Ohio. The park is adjacent to two large urban areas and includes a dense road network, small towns, four reservations of the Cleveland Metroparks, eleven parks of the Summit Metro Parks, and public and private attractions. Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on over 100 miles of hiking trails as well as on the multi-use Towpath Trail. Pets are not permitted in park buildings, on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, or on the East Rim mountain bike trails.
