OFF-LEASH DOG BEACH. Pelican Point Beach is located near the end of Miramontes Point Road in Half Moon Bay. The beach is nearby the Pelican Point RV Park and surrounded by the Half Moon Bay Golf Links golf course and community. There is a parking lot and public access where Miramontes Point Road bends north toward the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay Resort. From the parking lot just walk toward the water on the paved path and find a stairway that drops down to the beach where Canada Verde Creek exits a gulch. Dogs are allowed off-leash on the beach if they under voice control.
