With over 900 camping and RV sites at 15 different locations, Lake Mead National Recreation Area Campgrounds offer a variety of camping opportunities. The campgrounds offer restrooms, running water, dump stations, grills, picnic tables and shade. RV’s, trailers and tents welcome. Concessioner campgrounds, including recreational vehicle hook-ups, are also available within the park. Some sites are open to first come, first served visitors. Others you may reserve campgrounds by contacting the consessioners. The following areas are closed to camping: Day use areas; Arizona: North and South Telephone Cove, Cabinsite Point and Princess Cove; Nevada: Rogers Spring and Placer Cove. Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are welcome at all campgrounds and RV Villages on Lake Mead and Lake Mohave.
