Missouri State Parks has forty-one state parks and historic sites offer camping opportunities, from primitive walk-in sites to sites with hookups for water, electricity and sewer. Nearly all state park campgrounds are open year-round. Electric hook-ups are available year-round, while water and showers are usually available from April 1 through Oct. 31 (on-season) in most state parks. Pets on a leash no longer than 10 feet are welcome in the campgrounds, but must not be left unattended. It is recommended you bring no more than two dogs per campsite. Pets are not allowed inside any state park or historic site building, or in public swimming areas and beaches.
