Located at 19501 Pleasant Road, Abbeville, LA 70510, on the Vermilion River, Palmetto Island State Park campgrounds include 96 Improved Campsites (water and electrical hookup); and primitive campground. Pets are allowed in the campgrounds, but must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet, caged, or crated.
