Located in the southern Sierra Nevada in central California, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks Campgrounds consist of 14 campgrounds, including three that are open year-round. The following campgrounds are located in the parks: Lodgepole Campground; Dorst Creek Campground; Sunset Campground; Azalea Campground; Crystal Springs Campground; Canyon View Campground; Sentinel Campground; Sheep Creek Campground; Moraine Campground; Atwell Mill Campground; Cold Springs Campground; Buckeye Flat Campground; Potwisha Campground; and South Fork Campground. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring with grill and a metal food storage box; there are no hookups in the parks. Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in the campgrounds and picnic areas, but are not permitted on any trails.
