Dogs are allowed in California State Park Campgrounds, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and in a tent or enclosed vehicle at night. Some state parks provide overnight horse sites or group horse sites. Many campgrounds fill-up six months ahead so plan in advance. First-come first-served sites are available at some parks. Call the park for information on first-come first-served availability prior to arrival.
