In general, dogs are permitted in most California State Parks, but are not permitted on most California State Beaches. Where permitted, dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. All dogs entering a state park may be required to provide proof of appropriate immunizations and valid licenses. Dog friendly California state beaches include:
