Lanai Airport (LNY) pet relief areas are located outside the terminal. The airport has a grassy area under open skies, on the North side of the main terminal, where service animals, pets in transit, and working airport animals can take a potty break. LNY provides a trash receptacle for handlers/owners and encourages the use of this area and requests that owners tidy up after their pets. The airport requires all animals to remain leashed and under the direct control of its owner/handler. Passengers should contact their airlines for specific policies and fares for transporting pets in cargo or for traveling with a pet or service animal. Passengers should contact TSA for information on security screening for a pet or service animal. Hawaii has strict animal quarantine rules. For more information, please visit the HDOA’s Animal Quarantine Information Page.
