Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) pet relief areas are located inside and outside the terminal. There is one indoor service animal relief area, located at Gate A7. In addition, the airport offers two outdoor relief areas located outside of the baggage claim level on both the east and west ends of the building. While all traveling animals are welcome to use the relief area, preference is given to service animals. Passengers should contact their airlines for specific policies and fares for transporting pets in cargo or for traveling with a pet or service animal. Passengers should contact TSA for information on security screening for a pet or service animal.
