JFK Airport JetBlue Terminal 5 “Wooftop” is the only post-security outdoor space at a New York airport. The 4,000 square foot outdoor garden patio is open to all passengers and their pets. Located after security across from Gate 28, the large terrace features tables and chairs with seating for up to 50. One corner is designated as a pet relief area — a “wooftop.” The green space is located across from Gate 28 in the terminal’s newest concourse, “T5i.” Both family and pet-friendly, the T5 Rooftop is open to all passengers who have passed through security, regardless of their status with the airline. Passengers should contact their airlines for specific policies and fares for transporting pets in cargo or for traveling with a pet or service animal. Passengers should contact TSA for information on security screening for a pet or service animal.
