Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) pet relief areas are located inside and outside the terminal. There is an animal and pet relief area outside near the north entrance of the terminal, in the grassy area adjacent to the edge of the building. Passengers who have already passed through the TSA Screening Checkpoint should contact an airline representative for assistance accessing the post-security pet relief area. Passengers should contact their airlines for specific policies and fares for transporting pets in cargo or for traveling with a pet or service animal. Passengers should contact TSA for information on security screening for a pet or service animal.
