Located at 341 Roe Ave, East Patchogue, NY 11772, Mud Creek Dog Park is Long Island’s only official off-leash beach. It was created as a result of the partnership between LI-DOG and the Suffolk County Parks Dept. Facing onto the Great South Bay, the dog park offers a sandy beach where dogs are officially allowed to run, play and swim off-leash. It is a natural borders dog park, which means it is not fenced on most sides. There are no amenities such as water, benches or garbage cans. To access the dog beach, please use the double-gate entry, walk along the fence, then turn right onto the beach as soon as the fence ends. Please keep off-leash dogs out of the area in front of the fence. Parking is on the street. The park may temporarily close March 1st through June 30th to protect potential nesting birds.
