Located at 6723 Lithopolis Rd., Groveport, OH 43125, Walnut Woods Metro Park features 1,098 acres of woodlands and fields, bordered by Walnut Creek to the north. The Buckeye Area offers a 3-acre dog park for large dogs (20 pounds and over) with a fenced doggie swimming area, plus a 1-acre dog park for small dogs. Dogs 20 pounds and over can swim in the fenced doggie swimming area in the dog park for large dogs. Domesticated dogs and cats are also permitted in the park’s picnic areas, parking lots and on roadways. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
