Located south of 96th Street and Highway 370, Papillion, NE 68046, Walnut Creek Recreation Area is a 450 acre mixed-use recreation area with a 105 acre reservoir. There are 2 entrances, 1 off of 96th St and the other a 1.5 mile farther south and 1.5 mile west on Schram Road to Turkey Road. The leash-free dog park is a native 3+ acre area with 2 fully fenced-in areas, one for large breeds, one for small breeds, as well as a native area with pond access. The area is fenced on three sides with water on the fourth for dogs to play in. Dogs must be on leash in the rest of the park.
