Pensacola Dog Beach West sits along Fort Pickens Road at Lot B – the first parking lot past the last Gulf condos. (Beach Walkover 21E). Open May 1 – Oct. 31 from 7 a.m. to sunset and Nov. 1 to April 30 from sunrise to sunset. All dogs are required to be on a leash at all times. Signs are posted to designate dog-friendly areas. Doggie bags, disposable bins and handy wipes will be available at both locations. All other public beach areas and parks are off limits to pets, including Casino Beach.
