Jefferson County Dog Park is located just off of Highway 26 between Jefferson and Johnson Creek. The first phase, 23 acre Terri Tinsley Dog Exercise Area, opened in November of 2003. A major expansion was completed in 2009. 36 acres of fenced ground was added to the original 23 acres. Today’s expanded park contains two large dog areas as well as two small dog areas. A daily permit or annual tag is required.
