Pikes Peak Highway is a 19-mile toll road that runs from Cascade, Colorado to the summit of Pikes Peak in El Paso County, at an altitude of 14,115 feet. The highway is paved to the summit and is open year round, weather permitting. Along the way you’ll encounter some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world as you wind your way through an alpine wonderland of scenic beauty, mountain reservoirs, beyond timberline to the 14,115 foot summit of America’s most famous mountain. Dogs are allowed in the park provided they are leashed and their owners pick up after them. Dogs are not allowed on the Cog Railway.
