Nestled between Back Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, False Cape State Park is one of the last remaining undeveloped areas along the Atlantic coast. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in the park, but are not permitted access through Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. If you would like to take your dog False Cape State Park you must enter either by boat (canoe, kayak, motor boat, etc.) or through the North Carolina border.
