Dogs are allowed off-leash in the following Yarmouth town parks at the following times.
Royal River Park — Dogs are allowed off leash in Picnic Point, the grassy area just North of the main parking lot at all times. April 1-October 31: dogs are allowed off leash between sunrise and 9:00AM, and 6:00 PM until park closing. This does not include the paved pathway along the Royal River. It does not apply during posted public events. November 1- March 31: dogs are allowed off leash between sunrise and 9:00 AM and from 3:00 PM until park closing. This does not include the paved pathway along the Royal River. It does not apply during posted public events.
Sandy Point Beach — Dogs are allowed off leash at Sandy Point Beach between November 1-March 31.
West Side Trail — Dogs are allowed off leash on the West Side Trail, with these exceptions: dogs must be on leash at all times on the West Side Trail between Drinkwater Point Road southerly and easterly to the Cousins Island Bridge.
Pratt’s Brook Park — Dogs are allowed off leash within Pratt’s Brook Park, as long as they are within Voice Control of the owner.
