West Virginia State Parks Pet Policy: Pets are allowed in West Virginia State Parks, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 10 feet at all times. Dogs and cats are the only pets permitted in state parks and forests. All pets are prohibited in state park lodges, and in swimming pool and beach swimming areas.
