Utah State Parks Pet Policy: Pets are allowed at most Utah State Parks, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and not left unattended. Pets are not allowed in buildings or on developed beaches. State parks with pet restrictions include:
Jordanelle State Park – Dogs are allowed only in certain areas of the park. Dogs allowed on the Perimeter Trail and 3 Rocks Trail and allowed to swim in the reservoir, off-leash.
Deer Creek State Park – Dogs are prohibited below the high water line and in or on the reservoir.
Dead Horse Point State Park – Pets are not allowed on the Intrepid Trail or in the Yurts.
