Rhode Island State Parks Pet Policy: Pets are allowed at Rhode Island State Parks, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length. Pets are not permitted onto any state bathing beach, East Beach/Ninigret Conservation Area, or Burlingame Picnic Area from April 1st through September 30th. Dogs are not allowed on designated cross-country ski trails. Dogs or cats are welcomed at Burlingame State Campground, Fishermen’s Memorial State Campground and George Washington State Campground if they are well socialized, friendly, and have a current rabies vaccination. Pets are not permitted at Charlestown Breachway or East Beach Campgrounds, or at any RI state beach.
