Maryland State Parks Pet Policy: Pets are welcome in Maryland State Parks, but must be kept on a leash except while swimming in designated areas or hunting (with the appropriate permit). All pets must be licensed and have all required vaccinations, including a rabies vaccination. Pets are not allowed in park buildings or in playgrounds.
