Located at E Beach Rd., Charlestown, RI 02813, East Beach State Beach is a three mile long undeveloped beach on Quonochontaug Neck, the narrow barrier island that separates Block Island Sound and Ninigret Pond, in the town of Charlestown, RI. It is one of the least developed of the Rhode Island state beaches, with limited parking and a half dozen changing rooms. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach only during the off-season, from Oct. 1 till April 1.
