Located 12 miles southwest of Coos Bay, Sunset Bay State Park offers beautiful sandy beaches protected by towering sea cliffs. A network of hiking trails connects Sunset Bay with nearby Shore Acres and Cape Arago state parks. There is also a campground only a short walk from the beach. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the beach.
