Located at 1 Nickel Plate Dr, Huron, OH 44839, Nickel Plate Beach is a large sandy public beach with scenic view of the Huron Lighthouse. It has picnic shelter and tables, grills, play area, ping pong table, corn hole boards, beach volleyball courts (bring your own game equipment). Paddle board, kayak, and beach gear rentals at The Paddle Shack daily, 11 am-6 pm; weather permitting. Directions: Off Tiffin Ave., then Nickel Plate Drive. From Memorial Day through Labor Day dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach only before 10 am and after 6 pm.
