Located in Dare County on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, Southern Shores Town Beaches offer four square miles of beaches stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to Currituck Sound and Ginguite Creek. From May 15th to September 15th dogs are only allowed on the beach between the hours of 6:00 p.m-9:00 a.m. Dogs must be on leash at all times.
