Nags Head Town Beaches are located just south of Kitty Hawk in North Carolina’s Outer Banks. Nags Head has the longest municipal stretch of oceanfront at 11 miles, and with 6.5 square miles within its borders, the town is the largest on the Outer Banks. Public beach accesses and accompanied parking can be found along the Nags Head oceanfront. Dogs are allowed on the beach at all times as long as they are leashed.
