Located on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Cape Fear River in Southeastern North Carolina, Caswell Beach Town Beach includes a four-mile stretch of long, sandy beaches at the eastern end of Oak Island. Dogs are allowed off-leash on the beach strand between the hours of dawn and 9:00 a.m. From October 15 through March 15, dogs are allowed off-leash on the beach strand at any time.
