Located at 2000 Montauk Highway, Montauk, NY 11954, Montauk Point State Park is on the eastern tip of the South Shore of Long Island. It offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean where it meets the Block Island Sound. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in the park. A maximum of two pets are allowed in day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches.
