Sandwich Town Beaches include five saltwater and three freshwater beaches.
Ocean beaches:
Town Neck Beach/Boardwalk – Town Neck Road to Wood Avenue.
East Sandwich Beach – Ploughed Neck Road to North Shore Boulevard.
First Beach – Corner of Town Neck Road and Freeman Avenue.
Sandy Neck Beach (Sandwich Residents Only) – Located in the Town of Barnstable.
Fresh Water Beaches:
Snake Pond Beach – Route 130 to Snake Pond Road.
Wakeby Lake/Ryder Conservation – Cotuit Road to South Sandwich Road.
Peters Pond Property/Oakcrest Cove – 34 Quaker Meetinghouse Road.
Dogs on a leash are allowed on any saltwater public beach during the off-season, from Sept. 16th to March 30th. Dogs on a leash are allowed on all other public beaches during the off-season, from Sept. 16th to May 14th. Animals and pets prohibited in any area marked for protecting critical habitat or birds.
