Dogs in Danger
DogsInDanger.com is a nonprofit national shelter outreach program at the forefront of a grassroots movement trying to help shelters save the lives of millions of innocent dogs. Dogsindanger.com works with more than 120 shelters nationwide that destroy dogs. How much time the dogs get before death varies from state to state. The site aims to save their lives by offering them for adoption. The adoption service is free both for shelters and people looking for pets, allowing users to search by location, breed or time until death.

Pilots-N-Paws
Pilots-N-Paws originated in 2008 when a small group of people came together to help the thousands of animals in shelters and rescues across the United States. Often the animals coming into rescue are required to be transported long distances from the rescue point. Pilots-N-Paws is comprised of both individuals involved in rescue and pilots willing to volunteer their time to help transport some of these animals in need.

AnimalShelter.org
AnimalShelter.org was created in an effort to place homeless animals throughout the United States. These animals are often located in one of thousands of animal shelters and rescue's throughout the Country which offer a temporary placement while a loving family is found. At the AnimalShelter.org we provide a database of animals which will allow you to search for your next pet based on animal type, breed, size, gender and location.

ARIZONA

Mesa: Arizona Pug Adoption and Rescue Network
AZ Pug Adoption and Rescue Network (APARN) is a 501 c 3, all volunteer, non-profit org that helps homeless pugs get medical care, training and emotional care they need to successfully find their forever family. APARN‘s Mission is to rescue abused, abandoned, homeless, unwanted, sick or injured Pugs, rehabilitate them and place them into loving, permanent adoptive homes in Arizona.

Phoenix: Arizona Basset Hound Rescue
Arizona Basset Hound Rescue, a 501(c)3 is a nonprofit organization that provides veterinary care, food, support, and shelter to Basset Hounds, Bloodhounds and Basset Hound mixes needing assistance in Arizona.

Los Angeles: Hounds of Hope
Hounds of Hope is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit dog rescue foundation that is passionately dedicated to saving the lives of adoptable dogs that are about to be euthanized in the high kill shelters of Los Angeles. We strive to find the safest and most loving homes for unwanted, neglected and/or abused animals.

Los Angeles: Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue
We are a 501c-3 dog rescue foundation dedicated to rescuing dogs, the day they are to be euthanized, from various Los Angeles shelters and placing them in loving homes. We do NOT take dogs in ... we rescue only from shelters.

Los Angeles/Beverly Hills: Bill Foundation
The Bill Foundation is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation dedicated to rescuing dogs from the Los Angeles shelter system and placing them in permanent loving homes.

Los Angeles: Much Love Animal Rescue
Much Love Animal Rescue is a 100% nonprofit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic animals.

Simi Valley: Pet Stop Rescue
Pet Stop Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to placing homeless and displaced pets. Based in Ventura County, Pet Stop Rescue focuses on improving and protecting the lives of animals. We have cats and sometimes dogs up for adoption.

Southern California Bulldog Rescue
Southern California Bulldog Rescue provides shelter, re-homing assistance, and funds for medical treatment for over 100 bulldogs each year. These dogs come to us from animal shelters, other rescue groups, and owners who wish to surrender their purebred bulldogs. We help bulldogs in the Southern California area find suitable homes.

Greenwich: Adopt-A-Dog Inc.

Chicagoland area: REGAP of Illinois, Inc.
REGAP of Illinois, Inc. is a Chicagoland area/Central Illinois based anti-race, non-profit, rescue and adoption group. We are a 100% volunteer, 501c3 charitable organization. Our mission is to rescue these magnificent dogs, find loving forever homes for them and to inform the public that adopting a retired racing Greyhound is an excellent decision.

Lisle: Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois
Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation established in 1995. We provide shelter and care to purebred Collies which have been abandoned or turned in to shelters. The Collies are placed in temporary foster homes until a permanent home can be found.
